Redevelopment 

Led the Brookfield Properties New York Urban Retail Development Team during the redevelopment of a historic 21-story building on upper Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. This project was a joint venture with Thor Equities. The first 4 floors of retail were structurally reengineered to create 3 floors with greater ceiling height. The façade of the first 4 floors was then removed to allow tenants to create brand specific storefronts on Fifth Avenue and the upper office floors were vacated and prepared for a future development of Hotel Mandarin by SHVO real estate. The project included structural upgrades that allowed for a cantilevered sidewalk protection, one of the first of its kind permitted and installed in New York City.
