730 Fifth Avenue Redevelopment 

Led the Brookfield Properties New York Urban Retail Development Team during the acquisition and redevelopment of the Crown Building, a historic 24-story building at the corner of 5th Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan, the premier retail location in World. This project was a joint venture with Wharton Properties and Aman Hotels and Resorts. The project included improvements to the core and shell of this historic building, the redevelopment of approximately 110,000 sf of prime retail space on the first three floors, and the conversion of the upper floors from office to hotel use. This project included the design of a cantilevered scaffolding system above the retail facade to eliminate the use of street level scaffolding that would obstruct retail storefronts during maintenance and construction becoming the first of its kind permitted in New York City and winning the 2020 SEAoNY Excellence Award in structural engineering.
