Shopping Mall Development

As Senior Director of Design for Brookfield Properties Retail, created the overall design concept for a new 1 million square foot 3-story luxury urban retail center near downtown Norwalk, Connecticut.  The project sits on a very compact 11-acre site with a city street bifurcating the property. This required internal planning efforts to design a shopping mall complex located on top of a multi-story parking structure. Then led the design team headed by RTKL/Callison Architects to design this unique project that opened in 2020.
